This time, when I came to Dalian Jinpu New Area to connect with the Lingang Industrial Project, I deliberately avoided the high premium business hotels in the core business district and chose the Inn Fine Hotel Dalian hidden in the core area of the development zone. I thought that a location far away from the city center would face inconvenient commuting and disjointed facilities. However, after staying for a week, I realized that it perfectly blends the efficiency and appropriateness that business travel requires with the unique relaxing sea view of Bohai Bay into the 30 minute commuting circle.
It takes only 40 minutes by taxi from Dalian Zhoushuizi Airport to reach the hotel directly, and the entire journey is almost without traffic jams on the expressway. Even during rush hour, time can be controlled steadily. The tall business lobby did not feel crowded with scattered tourists, and check-in only took 3 minutes. Upon learning that I was going to visit 3 Lingang Industrial Parks in the next few days, the front desk proactively marked 2 commuting shortcuts to avoid freight traffic, saving me at least 20 minutes compared to taking the main road. When I pulled my suitcase to open the door, I came in through the french window with seafood, and I found that there was the best slow time on the west coast of Dalian.
Take Metro Line 3 from Dalian Station directly to the Development Zone Station, and take a taxi from the station to the hotel in 10 minutes. The whole journey takes 50 minutes, and even the seafood barbecue aroma wafting from the roadside is carried by the wind to the lobby. The tall retro hall is lit with warm yellow crystal lights, and the texture of the old style star hotel is coming. There are countless old Dalian restaurants hidden in the surrounding alleys, such as salted fish cakes, seafood braised dishes, and iron plate squid. You can eat them just a few steps downstairs without having to search for internet famous restaurants and travel long distances to queue up.
I didn't have to rush through my schedule for those four days. In the morning, I had a bowl of hot seaweed buns at the hotel's breakfast restaurant, enjoying the sea view outside the window.
